9. yosemite falls

words are not very useful at a place as breathtaking as yosemite. three times i have visited this magnificent place so far. one in summer, one in fall, one in winter. each visit has been completely different and capturing in its own particular ways. seeing hare and fox paws leaving their print in the snow, feeling the wind and water emanating from the roar of a gigantic waterfall, observing the patterns and colors, cracks and crevices etched in the stone. the observations, memories and recollections are endless. this shot is capturing that same fall that at one point is deafening in its size and force, but at this time is just a trickle of water in comparison, revealing the stone and its beautiful marks, where only water was visible before.
