speaking of those two words (read post below), this is what comes to mind when saying them. living far away from home allows you to appreciate what you take for granted to another level. here is the sun setting on la penca, one of the many beautiful beaches in guanacaste, the dry and sunny region of costa rica. the hammock is one of the simplest and most important inventions of all time. this is a glimpse into our immeasurable wealth. you can tell how homesick i have become in this bitter winter, knowing i have only a couple of weeks before i finally get to go back home. the warmth, the perfect subtle sea breeze on my skin, the sand on my toes, the waves whispering in my ears…
