water drops swimming down the face of a rock mingle with grass blades, small leaves and fresh air at tomales bay. countless drops join to become one roaring, unstoppable waterfall. i was completely engaged by this phenomenon at the edge of the beach, water and rock plummeting down to meet sand and sea. a beautiful contrast of materials, textures, smells and elevation drop greets the explorer, brimming from a strong hike.
